Membership in the Charlotte chapter of the ALA provides many opportunities to share ideas with fellow legal administrators and to expand your knowledge in all areas of legal administration. The Charlotte Chapter has monthly meetings, typically held on the third Wednesday of each month. The meetings offer an opportunity to chat with fellow members over lunch and to learn from various outside speakers. Each fall there is the very popular annual leadership dinner, where managing partners or other law firm leadership attend an evening dinner and program with administrators. In addition there is an annual conference with numerous seminars and vendor exhibits, as well as an annual meeting with the Legal Marketing Association. The opportunities to strengthen your skills and knowledge are abundant.
