Leadership in a Remote Environment

The pandemic has changed the way we all do business – at least for now. It is difficult enough to work in a remote environment when you are used to an office setting but leading is even tougher. Leaders not only have to make sure work is actually getting completed without the benefit of a face-to-face connection, but they also have to ensure that their teams remain engaged and productive. In this workshop, we will explore the differences between conducting business in person versus via conference calls and videoconferencing. We will discuss tools a leader can use to keep teams motivated and the pitfalls of leaders believing that remote working is easy – or that it is going away any time soon.
